Since we have become so accustom of only valuing sunshiny days ...when it rains, we look at it as not a good thing. We console ourselves by saying it rains on the just and the unjust.

But, let's look at the farmer ...the farmer may want the sun to dry the harvested clover before putting it in the barn, but the farmer also values a good rain.

In the Bible, the lack of rain seemed to cause damage more often, not to discount that great exception of the flood during Noah's day.

So, when we view it as good to rain ...we can say that we have it good, but the unjust people get that good too.  How else could anyone see God's goodness, unless they were able to get some of it, or to see the fruits of someone else's labors?

We can be an example to others ...whether we are coping well with hardship, or whether we humbly praise Him in thanksgiving for the good that comes our way.  In both cases, the best we can do for others ...is to glorify God, and hopefully bring the desire for others to do likewise.
